Hailing from Brazil’s west-central, Fernanda aka JAÇIRA considers herself as an anthropological music researcher. With her music and performance she creates an experimental intersection between the sounds and visualization of Latin America. Involved in theater for many years, she takes her artistic performative research to the dance floors and creates sets full of surprises with a genre mix between digital macumba, afro grooves, latin folk and experimental circus vibes, blended in electronic beats from house, slow techno and dub.
