Hailing from Salvador, Bahia (Brazil), Urubu Marinka has early learned to flap her wings to rhythms. Before meeting the machines, she has been friends with the drum skin. Her persona grew within the Voodoohop family with their legendary parties and tours, where digging deep into psychedelic tunes merges with the vast flavours of Brazilian music. Loads of vibrating drums and wooden samples, electronic grooves with tropical patterns and oscillators characterize her sound since then. Her frequent traveling and global performances steadily enhance her exploration of the musical spectrum of this world.
