Our latest compilation features some of our friends, both new and old, and is in sync with our mission to traverse geographical and cultural borders and create a multifaceted community united in the common love for music. Our ‘Sonorities’ travel slow but far. Organic and joyful sounds reminiscent of Latin America and their native peoples are flanked on one side by instruments and motifs from the East and urban trippy rhythms on the other. Ecstatic dancing beats travel alongside ethereal and mesmerizing melodies. Such diversity is not only meant to present the variety of sounds which these great artists exhibit, but also it also represents the diversities among human beings which are united in one heterogeneous and harmonious complex. It is the world we at UCR envision, a whole symbiotic organism.
