Baru has been a DJ for almost 15 years and, after a while living in Spain, got inspired by South American and Spanish organic live music. Since last year produces his own tracks. In the search for his own original sound, he experiments with mixing organic samples from areas such as roots and world music with contemporary electronic music directions. While making a UCR-podcast, he imagined what it would be like to walk through the streets of the city while listening to this on headphones: lost in thoughts, dreaming… and occasionally interrupted by the noise of traffic. Here comes a mobile soundtrack for urban cosmonauts in the search for their roots… Enjoy!
